What is/are the best functioning spark plug(s) option(s) for 72 400ci?
What is thread?
What should gap be?
Single or multi point?
I wanna put a new set in my satellite.
Can I get it at Canadian tire? That would be a bonus!

There really isn’t a best plug, just a lot of good ones. I have always used Champions for mr daily drivers. RJ12YC. .035 thou gap. I use NGK in my race stuff. Kim

A lot of people complain about Champs. I don’t’ know why. They have always work very well for me. Some guys swear by Autolites, I hate’em.

A well tuned carb and a multi spark system will do wonders for any spark plug.

I've run a lot of Champions, they're OK. Had real good results years ago with Autolites and NGK's in my drag motors. Gap is a function of which ignition you have.

Oh yea! I ran a MSD (the only one that worked for me and did t drop dead within a year, as I think they suck ***) with the plug @ .055 on a mostly stock 360. It was a very good mileage enhancer and did everything else the box claimed to do.

OK good info thanks.
Maybe I'll lean into the NGK? Not a racer, but 400ci medium cam, Holley sniper EFI, MSD digital 6AL

The big question....what heads are on it? Different reach plugs may be needed- 3/8" for stock iron, 3/4" for most aftermarket aluminum stuff.
