My 69 rr has tranny out of motorhome it shifts to 2nd good but shifts late to drive and downshifts too early when I slow down and I cant pull in down into1st gear

do you have linkage on it? How long has it been this way?Need more info, just changed tranny?

Lokar cable had car for few years just got it to where I can drive it I have cable adjusted and throttle pressure control lever is all way back at wot

The 2 back to 1 down shift at any rpm is a valve you can intall when you buy a shift kit. But some trannys it's not necessary to install. RV may be one that's necessary as it may be designed in a way to prevent over revving the engine on a downshift w the extra weight of a RV.
2 to D is typically a adjustment on the kickdown or it's got a governor issue, as long as it's still shifting I would try adjusting it. If you are maxed try backing it off and it should lower the shift point. It sounds like you have the pressure set to high if its downshifting to early.

So I need buy shift kit?which ones are best price dont really matter cause everything on this piece of sh... is expensive.i think mopars are awesome cars but they sure are a pain in the *** to work on thanks for replying to my questions

Look at trans go tf1 or tf2 or a B & M transpack. You likely may need more then the basic shift improver kit to make sure it has the valve. Most recommend trango. I've done both. Seems like transgo is a better value.

Fortunately mopars 904 and 727 are by a landslide easier to work on compared to automatics of other brands. But never fun laying under a car with tranny fluid dripping on you. LOL

Ive used TF1 on my 904 and was happy with it.

do you wrench much? You could if you take your time and know basics.. look up some vids so you get some basics about your tranny. You will have to drill a hole so make sure its in the right spot.

They come with decent instructions, b&m used to have more complete instructions then transgo. Maybe someone can comment more on the current transgo instructions. Just don't over tighten the pan bolts, make sure the pan is straight at the gasket surface, it's certainly a do-it yourself project. Just follow the instructions.

Thanks hopefully kit will fix problem and keep me a mopar fan my motor runs strong but shifting issues get under my skin
