Who knows what the marxist news networks will say about it. The Sheriff is ok, and that's all that matters.
Man I love the sheriff down in your state that keeps defending peoples rights... Good Man, a rare thing these days...

I wish every county in Florida had a sheriff like Grady Judd. Good man with a big heart.Man I love the sheriff down in your state that keeps defending peoples rights... Good Man, a rare thing these days...
Not being critical Sir, but she is with the Sheriff's Department, not a State Trooper.YUP, it’s real bud. Actual footage was on ABC news about 2 hours ago. Happened in Eaton County, MI. It was a brave MI State Trooper who stopped that bad boy! Watch the news, you’ll see it.
There you go, you got it! It was an Eaton County Sheriff & she was (is) awesome! Not being critical Sir, but she was a Sheriff, not State Trooper.
Sure, continue backing up & get in her car & lock the doors! WTH, put yourself in that same situation......nuff said.she should have never let him get that close to her, if she was going to stand her ground then he should be laying between the 2 vehicles, however if not she should have continued to back up.
Correct, she should have never let that guy get so close. I'm no police officer, and somebody exits their vehicle in an .aggressive manner, my weapon would be out, of course a round will already be in battery. She did seem a bit frantic.Having a little experience in this sort of thing I have a few observations/comments
1. the cop is a perfect example of a need for more training. The threat level escalated rapidly as soon as the subject moved towards here armed with a knife. She had plenty of time to bring her weapon to bear in a very controlled manner yet when she decided to fire it was a frantic event.

3. I do not think all of those rounds went into her vehicle, I believe some went down the street (bad)
4. unlike the movies, people do not always fall down immediately when shot, especially if they are under any kind of influence from drugs. This proves the point that non fatal shots are not effective in stopping someone typically
Your #3, I think you are totally right. That is scary.Having a little experience in this sort of thing I have a few observations/comments

I have no experience of guns, but if it was real I'm surprised the guy didn't have any visible damage or was her first few shots missing him? I thought the bullets would blow big holes in him, not just a little hole with blood like in the old movies?
Sorry, but a 9mm full metal jacket can go through walls. It's a flawed theory that .40, or .45 being "manstoppers". I don't know where these people get their info about "inferior" calibers.More than likely she carried a 9mm, a 45 would more than likely stopped him after the second or third round. But since the police patrol in populated areas and do miss in situations like this a 45 round will go through walls in multiple rooms before it stops. 9mm less of a chance of that happening.
You should check out the video of a Toronto cop being attacked by a thug who was just released from prison. That officer should quit.Sure, continue backing up & get in her car & lock the doors! WTH, put yourself in that same situation......nuff said.
Are police departments no longer issuing pump (riot) shotguns?
Think ''North Hollywood'' back in February '97.Many departments have replaced the shotgun with a AR platform rifle... Less stray lead, better accuracy & further reach....
Regardless, quick thinking under a lot of pressure on her part.

It's called training... Train before you need it so it just happens when you do need it... Bet she takes it even more seriously now....
Glad she had enough to stay in it when it mattered...
