Possible A12 Survivor on flea bay?

I talked to the owner last year when he wanted 150K for it. I thought it was a typo, and he wanted 50.

he was belligerent and a bit nutty

I guess they are only original once. Seems like there’s a demand as people are bidding it up..

It’s real. It’s just not worth anywhere near what’s it’s currently bid to.

Oh I'm sure. I'd bet anyone who's bid over $50k thus far? Doesn't live in the states.. Even needing a full resto (I.M.O.),

These cars Oval Air Cleaner LID? Did NOT come with those 2 decals. If you've read them you know why. Love to see that "BUILD SHIELD" though..

The A12 market is soft, IMO.
I’ve been following them for years, as I’m casually in the market for one.
No hurry, as they seem to be dropping.

That’s assuming all those bids are real. Still bidding is rampant on eBay.

Neat car for sure.....I've seen survivors it way better shape go for less $80k. Its worth what some folks will pay.....but since there are A-12 in car dealers for less than that.....not too sure about the authenticity of high bidder. Look at the history..

Nice green 4 spd RR A12 sold at Mecum this week for 60k.
Agree that was a nice ride for fair money but that one had no original driveline. Big difference in value. (if we are talking about the same one)

Lets have some fun? Bidding ends in 8 hours. We each get one guess to the final number.

Closest guess wins unconditional king of interweb for .5 seconds...

And you cannot believe a damn thing when it comes to auctions. Dana Mecum keeps recycling his own **** through the auctions pretending they sell and he has them at the next auction. Rinse and repeat until someone pays his inflated price. As far as original drive trains go, good luck with that. 90% of "original drive train" cars are restamped blocks, transmission and possibly rearends. Ask the corvette guys about the 427 67 vettes that were originally small block cars. One would be safe just buying the restoration and just figure the drive train is NOT original. Played this game long enough to know what goes on in the speciality car market on a daily basis. Sad, but reality.

Thinking the bidding is paused until the final minutes. Im going 95500

current bid $85,000+

it's rough, for that price

seen great cars sell for $25k-$35k less
