Hi Guys. I just stared working on a restoring a 1970 FM3 Satellite Conv and will need to do lots of repairs around the lip of the convertible well dutchman panel. Nobody makes new dutchman panels for convertibles that I can find. I did find these, which would be great if the circled area is correct. Has anyone used one of these and could you let me know if it's worth the money? I'm no slouch when it comes to buttwelding, so I can make anything work if the detail is correct.

Also, has anyone here actually had to repair the lip on the dutchman panel on a convertible? Can I buy one for a coupe and modify the lip that goes to the rear window so that it fits on a convertible?

thanks for your help
Chris

I'm not sure about the fit on these patches, but I do know that a coupe dutchman doesn't come forward far enough to reach the convertible top opening. I had to splice mine across the middle. Thankfully the lip at the convertible opening was still good on my rust bucket
