Hi everyone-

Been a long time Mopar fan starting back in high school, owned a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda, later in life had 1972 Plymouth Satellite w/a 440 then a 1966 Dodge Dart...leaning tower of power. Anyway, fast forward my dad recently took his own life, we both loved Super Bee's, he purchased one new his senior year of HS in 1969 with a 383. He drag raced it at Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove then decided to have it custom painted. As the story goes sold it to get a more sensible family car. Growing up I dreamed of one day getting one of my own, since his passing my wife and I decided it would be good therapy to do a tribute. Sooo, I just picked up a 68 Coronet 440 w/a 383...although not a Super Bee it's the perfect candidate. Car runs great, interior is original and clean, like most B bodies needs some quarter work. Good news is it's still all original. I custom painted street rods and Harley's for 20 years, so this should be a fun project! J

Look forward to all the valuable information shared on the forum! Here's some pics of my new 68 as well as my dads 69.

Welcome to the best Mopar site on the web. Sad news about your Dad. I'm only 25 or so miles from you and also have a soft spot for Bee's.

Thanks again, looking forward to sharing the progress. Also would be curious if anyone knew or seen my dads 69...hopefully it was never scrapped. I know he had it painted by Stardust Customs.
