I traded the Fiat I had for a VW rail job. But its not an ordinary rail buggy. Its powered by a Ford 2.3 4cyl. The car ran and drove off the guys trailer. I havent had time to really look into it. But I do know it needs a battery. I have one to put in it. But I will be cleaning up the wiring etc etc.. If anyone is interested let me know I will throw a price out there because I know it has to be posted.$3500

But will trade for something interesting. I guess I'm on a swap quest to see what I end up with. Anyhow check out the pictures below and make offers. I don't need it. It has Mickey Thompson 33's on the back and Mickey Thompson tires on the front. The rears are new and the fronts looks really good.

I'll have to say one thing. You keep everything interesting. That is definitely a twist.

I posted that Fiat on CL 3 days ago.. And here we are. There is a video of one of these 2.3 swaps pulling wheelies. Pretty cool indeed.

fomoco 2.3 is a good engine.

Now go get a turbo setup.....

I have to rewire the entire car.. Nothing works on it. So I'll be doing that the next few days. It does run and sounded pretty healthy.

The car will now start with the key. I replaced the rigged wiring with new battery cables both + and - Figured out the TFI ignition module and how all that crap works. And have it temporary wired just to make sure it works. I'm now working on the lights to make sure they all function as they should. I also have to wire the electric fan but need to figure out what fan it is. It has 3 wires I assume ground, high and low. I also need to grab a cheapo electric fan wiring kit so that it comes on at 180 or so.

Here is a video of it running. It still needs electrical work but I'm getting there.

Well, the bug is gone but the story if messed up. I have had the car on Craigslist for 3 weeks my wife posted it on Facebook today. Turns out it was stolen. Well I’m out of a Fiat 500 but I’m also not in jail because the guy was cool. I returned it to the guy and told him the info for the guy I got it from. So please delete this posting.

Yup I got screwed 2 ways... Lucky for me I only had an 80.00 clutch into the Fiat. That's the only money I lost. So I'm prefectly fine with the guy getting his car back, I mean it was stolen after all. I'm just pissed I was stupid enough for this line of bullshit. I'm usually pretty aware of how the situation is going. On another note this will forever change the way I deal with people. It won't happen again I can bet you on that.
