Thanks to 69HemiRTs I'm back in business! Part better than described & well packaged A+ vendor.

Well I've gone from Hemi orange to Persian orange! Mom's Allis Chalmers decided to throw a bearing. First time splitting a tractor for me. This is not how I envisioned my summer!

Tim, sometimes life gets in the way. Looks like a fun project though.
It'd be more fun if it wasn't cutting into GTX time.
But Mom comes first, gotta make sure I stay off the naughty list...…. Hopefully I'll have parts come the first of the week.
On a up note it's in my garage and I can turn the AC on.

Hmm maybe if I mill the head and port the intake & exhaust I can get 3-4 hp...

Hot rod tractor. Add in a turbo!!!!

Family first.

There is a guy I follow on one of my gun websites that rebuilds and restores old tractors. He casts his own babbit bearings and makes his own parts. That would be a great hobby if you have the room :)

My Dad used to collect old gas engines & Tractors and restore them. It is a lot of fun.

Couple cool gifts I received today.

More stuff for the Kings shrine.....

I was lucky enough to meet the King about 10 years ago. He was the last King on my list to meet. I had already met Garlits & Elmer Trett. For those of you that don't know who Elmer is, he's the Garlits of motorcycle drag racing. I saw him go 6.04 @ 225 at Indy 2 weeks before his death. He was killed in a crash at Indy, the same weekend at Blaine Johnson.

Well I got the tractor done and mowed a little today with it. I think I'm done with that!
I made a appointment to get the vinyl top, carpet, & headliner installed in early Nov. So I gotta get the roof scuffed, and the quarter trim fitted up before taking it to him. It'll be good to get back to the car. I don't have to tell anyone this has been the year from hell.....
On a good note only 35 working days left till retirement. Dec. 31st :praying:

Congrats Kid, I can't wait! 3 months 9 days, 33 working days......

I got a few years before I have to worry about that.
