I just scored a MAX JACK lift, it is designed as a "Portable lift" so you can install it and then move when not in use.
I have not installed it yet, and one of reasons is it only lifts to 4 feet, and I am 6 foot 3.
I got a fair deal on it, but the portable feature is lost on me, because I will leave it up at all times.
Any one have one of these lifts?
I have seen a bunch of guys mod them for extra lock positions, and add the high lift adaptors to get the vehicle up higher.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with these lifts.

I "paid" about $1400, and it was only used a dozen times.
The guy I got it from bought a 4 post style, and I took $$ off his bill.
I was stoked when i first got it, now I am thinking I be better off with a regular two post lift, and only reason being the max lift height.

But a 4 foot lift height lift is better then no lift at all, LOL!

are you talking about one of these

I am much more motivated now, LOL
My buddy has this style, only I think his is bend pak very heavy to move around
Wont work for me, but he has this and a two post, so he uses this for body work, brake work.

That other portable one is very cool!!
I bet its very pricey.
I wonder if max jack could be bolted to a sheet of "ROAD PLATE", for outside use, or thin, crappy garage floor?
