Ten months after being sent to paint prison, she's done. She should be back home in a week... then the fun of rebuilding her. Man, I love this hobby!

I absolutely love that color man. Thats just gorgeous.

Thanks, brother. She had a pretty rough (pretty cheap) blue paint when I bought her. My old Charger was R1 Burgundy, so there was no doubt what color I was going with for the Coronet. I didn't feel bad about changing colors - she was originally a 318/904 car, so no harm in straying from the factory paint.

 so cool glad she is getting parole, cant wait to see more updates

Looks great!

Now just be sure to invest in LOTS of blue painters tape to protect is as you build it up. Chips happen SO easily - ask me how I know...

gotta ask...Nadine?
from The Stand??
first thing that came to my mind when i saw the title lol.
ps,that is a Great color for that bodystyle.

What an awesome feeling!! Let the fun begin.

That's pretty good... but nope. I pondered various names for a couple of weeks after bringing her home. One day I was listening to my Arc Angels CD (a project album in the aftermath of Stevie Ray's death)... and on came "Sweet Nadine". It just fit, and no other name would ever do.

Well, my estimate of her arrival time was a bit undercut. Apparently the wet-sanding and buffing process is longer and slower than I had anticipated. No matter; I'm still just thrilled that she's done and so close to coming home. I'll be going over today to do a little more work.

Great color. My opinion body and paint is the toughest part of this hobby. Unless you can do it yourself.

And so the rebuilding fun has begun. Figured I'd start with the tail end, and the quarter emblems. The AMD bumpers don't have the holes for the bumperettes, so I had to measure and drill for them.

Also doing some dash work while the interior is out.
