Being a guy who already has more project cars than anyone can build in ones lifetime,I found myself aquiring two more basket case B body project cars yesterday! I don't know why I did it,but I did,I think I may have to get rid of my car trailer,so I don't have the means to pick these things up anymore! A friend of mine called me,and asked me if I knew anyone who might want a 70 Road Runner convertible project, car,so of course I knew someone,It was on my trailer a few days later, then a 70 Charger carcus that I had sold to a friend of mine, ended back on my trailer, less than an hour after the Road Runner came off it. The Charger has good bones, but needs floors, trunk floor, quarters, trunk extensions, valence pan, valence corners, tail panel.dutch panel, and roof skin, all of the sheetmetal I already had bought for the car, when I owned it before, and I still have all of it. The Road Runner is a lemon twist and black 383 Air Grabber car, that I believe was an automatic car,but was converted to a 4 speed at some time. It has been blasted, and is on a dolly. It needs the right front frame rail repaired, but one came with it,and someone crudely put quarters on it,I am going to have to strip the skim coat of filler someone put on both quarters to see if they can be saved,or will need to be redone. there must be some hording disorder that makes me believe that I need to own every B or E body Mopar basket case project car that ever rolled off Ma Mopars assembly line!

I don't know of a cure, 30 and counting.

It just needs a few trinkets of tin,the rails and rockers are good, cowl and engine bay are good,I paid chump change for it,and was going to build a Daytona clone out of it,until I bought the Daytona stock car project. It's not very pretty to look at though!

Young man, you have a virtually incurable disease. But I'll write you a prescription for A-bodies, and we'll try six months of rehab. Thank you, and pay the nurse on the way out.

I must have a mild case.

"Only" six.

Four if we're not counting parts cars.

They have found a cure for this sickness. A bigger yard that should take care of it.

That looks like it would be a fun project. Btw. There is no cure.

There is no cure for Mopar virus B6672.

I sold everything and though I was cured for a couple of years, then I had a relapse when this cried out for my love.

No cure for the car addiction, however you may get some relief from the B body aspect should you find another platform such as a A or E body. I contracted the disease at 14 and now am about to turn 60, I have had a lot of cars.

Agree, no cure for this addiction, don't see how a 12 step or any med/nutro program could help.

I figured that real 70 Road Runner convertibles don't come up for sale in a price range that I can afford very often, so I had to grab it! This is the 70 Charger shell,I just finished unloading it from the trailer and got it stashed beside the garage, out of the neighbor's site. I have a removable section of fence that I use to hide them. Once I throw a camouflage tarp on it,it will disappear from site altogether!

I got 4 E bodies, and 5 third generation B bodies too,so that plan has failed me too. I also have two little red trucks,an Indy Ram,and a 75 Dodge van,so trying other body types has not panned out! Lol

I believe your b body bug bite has grown to a full blown mopar bug bite. No known cure that I know of, other than, collect the whole set. Dragging forward looks lately
