How do I remove my key switch to replace it on my 70RR ? Its a 4 speed car if that makes a difference . Thanks

yes you do. I had mine all apart to replace both the signal and the ignition switch. You have to get down to ignition switch in order to get to the key cylinder. Its a small metal clip on the side of the cylinder that you push in on and than the cylinder can be pulled out. I didn't replace the cylinder because it was ok. I suggest you use the service manual because lots of things have to get out of the way to get that far into the shaft. Maybe somebody else may know a secret way of doing it. It is a fairly complicated procedure and if you are not confident in your ability/experience to handle this than maybe you should consider other options. If the cylinder is operational perhaps some lubricant or graphite can help you. You haven't said what's wrong with it, only how to replace it. Hope this helps.
