Be sure that you measure with the yoke in the trans the right distance. I would have to check again with the person who knew how to measure it. To far in or to far out is not good. My 63 wagon measures 52" center to center with a 727 and my friends 64 2 door is 52" also. I could check with him as to how to measure the proper shaft length.Depending on the spline count of your 8 3/4 you could go to the large u-joint. Got all kinds of those yokes laying around. Can change that yoke easy. Good luck.

Dennys Driveshafts has all the correct ways to measure on their site.

I slid the yoke in and left about an inch and half for travel... then measured to the center of the rear yoke. The Service Manual specs say 53.67 " That said original equipment would have been trunion style.

We've got a pile of them at the shop in eastern iowa, I'll be back there in 2 weeks I can check

Thank- you in advance, really close to getting this 62 running... hasn't been on the strip in over nearly 40 years !! Please let me know when you can !!

I have a driveshaft that measures 54" center of u-joint cap to center of u-joint cap.
It has the 7260 style smaller 3" u-joints front and rear.
Currently there is a 904 trans yoke up front.
I am asking $100.00 plus shipping for the unit.
If interested start a conversation with your zip so I can quote shipping from northwest Indiana.
Thanks!

Thank you sir, but that's just a little too long. 53 1/2 is ideal, I would have to cut that one down to fit. if I can't find anything else I will get a hold of you.

I may have one will look tomrorow

I've got 2 big yoke a 53 5/8 or 3/4, and a small yoke at 53 even. Surely 1/4" fits
