1970 Roadrunner Build

I am so jealous!!!

Got the engine painted today and started bolting some of the components on. Had the exhaust manifolds ceramic coated two years ago and forgot how nice they turned out.

Got everything installed on engine except connecting all of the fuel lines. Have to get some fittings for the fuel pump to hard line mate up. Ready to add oil and prime. Also second guessing the 440 Source internally regulated alternator just because of appearance.

Finished up the hood decals. The Penastar was installed and then moved on to getting all the engine compartment and front lighting harness wired up.

Your going to have to loose the alternator!

Sorry, I get emotional some times

Grate work. It feel's good when things come together. Waiting to here that beast run.

Heck it look's good. Once in the car no one will really notice it. Maybe paint it black.

Do you have another fuel pump??

Excellent attention to detail - all these little details make a full package that will be stunning. Great job!!!

I know the fuel pump isn't correct, but used a Hemi fuel pump as recommended by the guy who built my carburetors. First ever Chrysler build for me so I guess it will be trial by Fire

Not so much the pump but rather it's painted...

I think all but the Hemi engines had pump installed prior to paint. I got that info per Frank Badalson or Dave Wise books. But I am figuring out on a Chrysler nobody ever really can say 100%
:popcorn2:

Have seen original low mile 383, 440 & 440 V code cars with natural pumps. But you are right about never say never. Nice work in any case!

Got the sail panels and rear window interior trim installed. Also repainted the TX9 black in the interior as the BC/CC used looked to shiny to me.

Dash installed after finally finding the studs to mount the front speaker. Have a glass company scheduled for Wednesday to install windshield and rear glass.

Had the windshield and rear glass installed today along with the stainless trim. Starting to come together now.
