I just picked up a rallye dash frame a few weeks ago and just finished sandblasting it. There is a small vertical piece of the frame between the opening where the gauges are and the air conditioning vents below the radio. It has what looks to me like an odd bend in it. The area is circled in the two pictures below. In looking at the dash, there doesn't look like any other areas are bent or pulled. I am just trying to figure out if this bend belongs in the dash.

There is a '68 frame with air, for sale on eBay right now. The detailed pictures seem to show that strange bend you have circled. If I could figure out how to copy a link from my phone, I would - but I can't.
