I wanna flat tow my charger to my backyard for paint and bodywork. How well do those work? Does anyone have pics or advice?
If all you wanna do is move it from front yard to the back, all you need is a chain and another driver. Dont overthink it.
However, this is what we flat towed our race car to the track with, in the eighties. The tow tabs bolted to the bumper bracket mounts, the tow hubs were made from 1/2" steel and amc hubs, and the tow bar is 1/4"wall (it's heavy!)

We towed it out with the slicks in the bed (or the trunk) took off the stock rims and street tires, took off the tow hubs, and put the slicks on. Unbolt the tow bar, and let's go!
The tow hubs were for the 727, so we didn't have to pull the driveshaft.I did it the same way in the 90's before I got a trailer, except for the hubs. I just put the 4 speed in neutral.
