Who made purple shaft cams for Mopar Performance?

I want to say the org. were Racer Brown grind/spec's
not sure who actually ground the org. purple MP cams
without looking, it's just a guess

IIRC the org. 292*/.509" was a Racer Brown style of grind

good question
I'd assume they are an in-house deal now or some co. outside/outsourced
that grinds them for MoPar Performance, to their engineering & specs

One of the challenges of the Direct Connection engineers was to get DC cams to perform as well as Racer Brown.
They could not.
This was told to me by Larry Henry.
fyi: In the Kit Car brochure, Larry is the guy standing with the Kit Car parts spread all over.

I did a quick Bing search on the -www-
& wikipedia couldn't find anything definitive,
checked a couple of old camshaft articles
from Hot Rod I had stored too

only thing really, from wiki
Fiat S.p.A.
blocks, cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, crankshafts, camshafts, driveshafts
components for automobiles & commercial vehicles, Teksid which is specialized

I'm curious now

i think camcraft did a number of cams for mopar in the mid 60s

Probably Camshaft Machine Company for the common hydraulic ones.

The grind was made by Direct connection back in the 60s and 70 it was Mopars Elite
I know that. I was wondering what company made the cams for DC/MP because I know that they don't make cams in house.
