Mini tub 66 Coronet

Have you got those welded in yet? I trimmed mine to mimic the factory rail shape. I think it looks better.

Not yet I can't purchase the welder I want until this virus is over. I have one tub ready to weld and purchased a set of Afco roller shackles. I still need to sand the trunk and cut the drivers side frame. I left the lip on the inner fender

I have a 67 and know first hand how small the 66/67 rear wheel wells are.. I can see this being a really great add on to your car..
What size wheels/tires are you thinking about??

My 255 60r 15 Mickey Thompson tire would rub on left turns with 15x8 and 4.5 backspacing. Iam hoping to run a 295 60r 15 if possible. McCormack racing is a couple blocks down the street they have a big selection in stock

My stock 67 has 5 1/4 BS on 15 X 8 rear wheels and if I did it again it would be 5 1/8...…

Before putting the wheel tubs in for the last time. I welded the trunk pan back to the frame and patched a spot on the frame

Mocking up the rear kept the old perches on for reference. My old 28x9 with 5.5 backspacing would hit the leaf spring now I have plenty of clearance. I have 4 inches to the leaf spring

Finally have the car on the ground setting pinion angle and welding the perches on. The 28 inch tire gives the car a nice rake
