Not happy with Magnum Force front suspension

Magnum Force looks like the Harbor Freight of front end kits. That tie rod to steering knuckle connection looks horrible. RMS uses a similar setup. I know, they do that to reduce bump steer but a cantilevered connection is inferior to a dropped steering knuckle by a huge margin. The OEMs know this, that is why all of the cars I have seen have a direct connection between the tie rod end and the steering knuckle.
The welds on the K member look about as good as what I do and I am a Carpenter by trade.
A buddy of mine with a 64 Valiant was impressed with the header clearance these kits offer, so instead of getting an $750 set of TTI headers, he went with a $4500 MF kit. No instructions, just boxes of parts. For the money, he got less suspension travel, a wider turning radius and after three years, he is still running cast manifolds. The steering response is better since the new steering rack replaced a worn 24 to 1 manual steering box. Yippppee !

Dealt with MF front suspensions a few years ago - first and only time. I was not overly impressed with the system. Everyone has different opinions but I'm with Kern Dog - I don't see the benefit of the system given the fact the factory torsion bar system works quite well

He is in my neighborhood. My car not worthy. Lousy phone experience. Years ago though.

I wouldn't use any of the aftermarket coil over suspension kits even if they were free.
Some look pretty but the engineering doesn't impress me.

Just wanted to update, going on almost 6 years with my RMS front Suspension kit without a single problem !! Love it love it love it !!

Why disagree with this when it it was clearly a statement of opinion?
You disagree that I wouldn't use a free kit? You disagree that they are pretty? You disagree that the engineering doesn't impress me?
Pretty hard to know what another person is truly thinking.

Hard acceleration @ the track lunched the car about 6 inches off the pavement !!

Its clear that some CO systems can and do work very well, but for me it all comes down to the engineering aspect. If all of the various aspects are not attended to (strength, angles, etc.) something is going to fail. I am going to fabricate a CO system in my 70 RR, not because I think it is better, but because I can and I don't have one plus the car is cut up quite a bit already. Hemi Denny is helping me with it but it will be awhile before I get to it bc I just got my 71 Charger and I will be doing a normal T bar system in that.
