NEED PRAYERS- MORE FIRES!

Thank you MrSaver!
So far so good for me this am. Heard sirens/smelled smoke at 2am, looked around & clear here. Wind has died down.
Got 2-3 alerts during the night as ANOTHER fire broke out in Healdsburg which is NW of me.
Not so good for our other friend. Fire moving South...
Will be checking Cal Fire (who hasn't been updating as frequently as last year) and my friend Windy.

Thank you all for the prayers & remember Jim please!

Psalm 3:5
Thank you LORD!

Stay informed, have an evacuation plan, use your head, and stay safe! Faith and prayers, God's speed. 440'

Stay safe...That fire also is hitting West Vacaville my former home town. Know all that area well. Here in Reno, the Layton fire today has us in sun block out and eerie orange glow. Also NV Energy is now starting with their crap about rolling black outs and asking all to turn off every electrical item including the AC. WTF!!! These utility company's are nothing but Robber Barons and controlling Jack Wads...cr8crshr/Bill :wtf::wtf::wtf::usflag::usflag::usflag:

I'm on the East side of Sacramento, and i have a white car that looked like it was parked in a coal mine overnight.
There is so much ash in the air from the fire, and i can only imagine what it's like for air quality close to the center of the fire.
Local's to the fire, stay safe, being in an evacuation zone.

Well...It was a beautiful, non-smokey & windy morning.
Oh wait, that was yesterday.
I'm rather tired as I did not sleep Tuesday night, got up at 5am Wed, went to work before 6 and haven't stopped or slept yet. And I see it is now 3:26 am Thursday.
Winds changed, **** hit fan, evacuated wife & 4/5 of her cats at 2pm under advisory evac notice. I been so preoccupied that I was unaware of the fire in the Vacaville area and 80 was closed so she staying there tonight. I got wind that a mandatory notice was on the way so left work and got the Charger down the hill to 'safety?'. Went back to work prepping building and air handlers until 5:30-6, went home, got last cat 'Bruce' and... now I have to go back to work.
Did I say I was tired?
Anyway I have been dislocated and will not be going home until when ever.
That's a real pisser also as while picking tomatoes while the authorities drove around the 'hood with their "LEAVE NOW" sirens I realized that I was having the BEST tomato season in 10-15 years!
I picked a bunch of the best oranges we've had in years also.
I'm looking at this change of fortune thusly:
Perhaps God has answered my prayers?
He knew I wanted to move, but I didn't want to pack. :bananadance:

Not sure exactly where you are Brent, Talked to my buddy Todd this AM and they are working bombing the Salinas and Monterey "River" fires.

I'm in the hills North of St. Helena. Thanks for the thoughts!
This morning at 3:30ish I wrote a 3 paragraph update but evidently didn't post it.
Short story version:
Yesterday at 2pm my wife & her cat herd evac'd.
She had to stay in Fairfield because 80 got closed from fire. She headed north now.
I evacuated at around 6pm.
Ended up at work & helping there until 6:30 this morning.
Slept a couple hours- left work around 1pm for Medford.
TOO TIRED, stopped in Willows for a 12 hr nap. Haven't had much sleep or food last 3 daze.
Feel much better typing this in a stinky motel room than I did earlier out in the field bresthing in smoke.
The good new is that I heard from Daytona Jim and he says he thinks they will be ok!
He has a relative real close to me that had to evac also.
I've been looking at my situation this way:
God may have answered my prayer.
He knew I wanted to re-locate but that I did NOT want to move all my stuff:D
I actually think the wind shifted again for the better (for me, not someone else though:eek:).
I feel the sleep
Deprivation upon me again so will stop now.

I have 4 Military bud's that used to live in the area that got torched north of Vacaville, their home's are now gone! Some were really Tit's acreage's, now ash! The residual smoke from that as well as from local fires here, make the smoke bad. It's the clearest smoke tonight we've had to 3 days, I hope for a somewhat smokes clear fingers-crossed nights sleep. Better conditions predicted tomorrow, the clock ticks!

Opened the trunk & ashes went everywhere. There weren't any on the car, just in the crevasses.

Got in my eyes then and been itchy/burning all day.
Drove 100 miles through this. Probably another 100 to go.
The last 15 miles felt like it took an hour so I called it quits for the day.
