Looking for a 383 or 400 shortblock. Maybe you're upgrading and I can help finance that by buying off your shortblock. Only looking for verified running and good condition via compression/leakdown tests, video of running, etc. Realistically within a few hours driving of Chicago or Eastern Iowa. The budget for this project doesn't extend to buying a fresh build off someone unless you really need to sell it. Ideally it's a good used short block that just isn't needed anymore. Potentially interested in a long block but I have my own heads, intake, accessories I plan on using so looking to save money if possible. Shoot me a message if you have something you think I might be interested in and let's talk.

might be too far away, but,i have a 400 shortblock with 30 over pistons and a 509 cam,no heads nor intake go with it,altho they are currently on it.
heads are nfg/one is cracked.
motor wasassembled at shop, put into car and never finished hooking up and never used.
motor is located in springwater 14560 and i can ship thru Fastenal if thats something you are interested in.
