My cousins son in one of the first episodes . where they go to buy a seat they need for one of there builds. to be honest I had to go out and double check my car to make sure it wasnt hacked up .. beings it came from that neck of the woods.

This is in Tappen not Kamloops but not far away
I have known Mike for about 35 years back when he was a pot head
He is still crazy but last time I talked to him he had not smoked in five years
Need to make a trip out to see him

I started watching the third season of Rust Valley Restorers on Netflix and I’m really enjoying it. They are restoring a 69 road runner.

I like it. They build driver cars. Lotsa MOPARS. The only complaint I have is that every similar series seems to think that they need a loveable half wit side kick. Pawn Stars has that annoying moron Chumlee, this show has Avery. He seems like a nice guy but he has this SUPER annoying laugh that they show far too often.

ALL of these shows have some idiot. Graveyard Cars has "Cousin Douggie", the guy looks like Sling Blade with a torque wrench.
Ah, I shure like dem Mopars, umm hmmm....Better-n them french fried pit-taters y'all got in nerrr.[/QUOTE]

 exactly what I was watching last night, Avery is a pig and Mike well... I like the road runner, the orange always looks good on a b body, not a fan of the white interior, buy it looks good, one of the things that are least looks odd to me in that car is that the oil pan sits very low almost touching the ground.

Yep oil pan is way to low,and I dont care for Avery. I do enjoy the show.

I think its kinda funny. Serious restorations, no way. Some of the early shows I think they substituted a different complete car in the end

What I do enjoy about the show is that they just build a car. That’s all.
I’m SO sick of the whole “it’s one of one hemi four speeds with white top, pink exterior, and green seats” bullshit. Just build a freakin’ car and enjoy it.

I watch it with my son and he enjoys it. He likes it better than Graveyard Carz. He thinks Avery is a hoot, and I like that fact that it gets him excited about cars. He could care less if they are rare or 1 of #, he just likes when “they look cool!” He loved the “hit to pass“ episode. Show works for us, although I have to keep telling him I better not hear him use any of their colorful language!

A nice, shiny, week end driver car

I stopped in for a visit and yes the film guys ask them to do dumb stuff and they get more work done when the film guys are not there
Mike was bugging me to stop in for three years and was happy to see he has been off pot for eight years
It is a SCARY shop
