My Super Bee came from the factory with the R36 AM/FM Multiplex Stereo with floor mounted Stereo Cassette Player/Recorder. It had some kinda junky looking modern Stereo/CD player mounted in the Cassette Player housing when I bought it.

I have removed the housing and the modern unit that was inside it. I've installed a factory Cassette Player, that came with the car parts, in the housing to see what it looks like. Don't know if it actually works, but I like the look of the stock equipment better than the cheap looking CD Radio that was in there.

I have about 50 or so cassettes that I bought many years ago and still have to this day.. For the photos I included my Black Sabbath Paranoid tape as it is the same year as the car 1971. And the 1981 Heavy Metal movie soundtrack. When I get the electrical system sorted out and the car drivable, if this Cassette Player works, it would be cool to listen to "Takin' a ride on Heavy Metal" by Don Felder the old fashioned way, with analog tape!

"You can hedge your bet on a clean Charger or Coronet, to get you there, right on time." (my Mopar lyric modification). "Won't you take a ride, ride, ride... On Heavy Metal! It's the only way that you can travel, down that road!"

Who else has a factory R36 or R26 option on their Mopar? And do you have your Cassette Player working and playing tapes?

Hey Steve, turn the volume up! I can barely hear it.
Hey Ray! If the player works and I get it installed in the car, I'll turn it up just for you! haha.

I had to remove the Multiplex Stereo from the dash today, so I could see and inspect the Ammeter gauge. Only two wires were connected to the Multiplex unit, the rest were disconnected.. I'd like to test operation of both Multiplex and Cassette Player while out of the car, before attempting to reinstall them. Will need to find, if it is in the parts, or obtain the cable to connect the Cassette Player to the Multiplex.
