That's it's pretty friggin' awesome to drive it - finally. I've owned birds for a total of about 15 years, and today I actually took it out for a spin - for the first time.

Nervous about driving or to clean? I'm a little nervous from texters and phone addicts.

Nervous about texters, rubberneckers, stone chips, bugs, birds, tar - you name it! I had one car go off the shoulder of the road while the driver was pointing to it, and another crossed the centreline doing the same!

First time out of garage in 9 years with my car and daughter we were on a curve on a narrow two lane road. On coming partly in my lane heard my daughter suck in a breath. I was looking for a place to go, he pull back in his lane. Mine is a driver.

Cool!! When I had my 71 340 Cuda, I got nervous at times and that was in the 90's but the car that I enjoyed a lot was my 66 /6 Belvedere. Wasn't a care in the world but man, they are made to be driven and not parked in a showroom just to look at. Yep, you got to pay more attention to the rubber neckers etc but that happened when they were new.

They draw a crowd and lookers. I drive mine, but very carefully with all the idiot's out there. I'm glad that I live in basically a rural area and can stay on the back roads. By the time they see it, I'm gone.

Driver or not, first off, it's a Superbird, secondly, that's scary as hell! I guess these "show off" cars really are dangerous. LOL

It almost looks like you parked by Mac n Ray's marina by Selfridge but that would be a little bit of a drive. Beautiful car.

I married this Playboy model and decided that just to keep her perfect for the next guy, I am never going to sleep with her.

and you can just as easily loose one in a garage fire. Might as well have fun with it.

Heck, I don't know. I've been telling my kids "I'm spending your inheritance." Now I can say, "I'm driving your inheritance."
Insure it, drive it and enjoy the hell out of it! Kid's can do what's necessary just as you have.

100F today... better cooking in the car than sitting in a backhoe all day like I did yesterday!

Two buddies of mine lost several cars to garage/shop fires......one due to a car catching fire and another due to contractors installing new doors on the shop.

I sold my survivor 70 GTX because I was afraid to drive it.

Now that I have my ratty worthless Coronet, I drive it MUCH more often without a worry!
