My new car 1965 Coronet deluxe

I'm sure, I think your being facetious. don't you guys have a bunch of nice cars?

Not at all. You've come up with a really nice example of one of my all time favorites. Had a black one many years back and sold it. Believe it's over your way somewhere now. Always wished I'd kept it.

That’s very awesome! Great, we’ll preserved, survivor ‘65.

Same color interior as my 65 wagon.

Just borrowed your photo of the firewall for reference too.

Wow, what a find!. Good luck with it, have fun.

A little while ago there was a discussion about the heat shield behind the passenger exhaust manifold. I see this car has it. Another good reference.

Wow. Factory mufflers! What a find! Mine was very stock but this is dead-stock. Super reference material.

Just an absolute time capsule!
What was the story on why it sat for so long?

Man, thats the ultimate in anti theft with the 3 on the tree! Nice score!

oh yeah, miss a couple of the bakeries and of course the car guys, but I was ready to get out of town 50 years ago but had kids to raise(ex-wife). Most of the exercise I get is waving to people I don't know.

I understand he was a coal miner and after retirement he suffered extreme depression, his family would tell him to take it out but he insisted on it sitting in the garage. He refused to let any of his 3 sons to drive it, he passed away last year from cancer
