Decided to go to a more factory looking oil pan and ordered the hemi oil pan kit from Mancini. It comes with oil pan, windage tray, oil pump and pickup tube.
When it arrived I was surprised to see a plastic windage tray with built in gasket. (Not what was shown on their website).
Right now I’m leaning toward using it but could also reuse my steel Milodon tray.
Any experience or opinions on this?

I have used them on 2 engines.. They are very good and a lot less hassle than doing 2 gaskets and the windage tray.

I bought mine through Summit cant remember who makes them.

I like the idea of the built-in gasket, I have no experience with it. I would have to think that this made from a plastic/rubber type composite material and somewhat flexible, I would like to think you'd be ok with it? Good Luck

It's a great piece.... I've used a few & recommend them allot... Only heard of one leaking at all & that was due to a bad pan......

I've had one for years, no leaks

I’ve had my pan off 4 times and never a leak. Had to clearance the tray around the stand pipe but that was no biggie.

Do these require the same hardware(threaded bolt heads - I believe) thats required to install the OEM windage tray?

All of them in use on new engines are plastic. I like the idea of less gaskets, less chance of a leak. That being said IMHO if you remove the pan for any reason you will need to replace the tray.
