I thought the automatic and manual bracket sets were different. I have a set of automatic brackets from a 67 Coronet you can have for 50 plus large flat rate box which is 21.50

Hi Dan,
So, I was not able to hook up with the guy, and now he's not answering me, so I will take yours for $50 plus shipping if you are still offering?
Thank you,
Todd

Todd send me your address, large flat rate box is 21.00,you can PayPal to [email protected]
Underscore between d and j
I current removed the main bracket with a piece of the floor attached to serve as a template to locate it perfectly. Once it is located you can grind the welds off the floor and discard. From there attach all brackets to console body and place on floor aligning your scribe for main bracket, then you can scribe all the other brackets. Can’t miss this way.

Thank you - will send paypal now!

This is what I did with the main middle bracket. I drilled a pilot hole through floor piece and bracket as a locator. I then separated the old floor from the bracket. Lay the old floor on your floor lining up the round opening where shift linkage will pass through. Mark the 2 pilot holes with a pencil or spray paint to your floor. Your done with the old floor now. Lay the main bracket down aligning the pilot holes in bracket to marks you made on your floor. That will be correct. Attach other 2 brackets to console body and when you screw body to main bracket wherever the other 2 fall is correct. Good luck
