I need to know what to ask for my factory original V-code K-member. It has the skid plate and "coin" date code.
I have had my front suspension completely redone with QA1 K-member and front suspension components, except for the SPC UCAs. Borgeson power steering box and a number of other changes. I will NEVER reinstall the factory K-member and I refuse to take up limited space keeping it for the next owner who I don't believe I will be alive to see. In other words I have no plan to sell my car, ever.
I'm building it up in the direction of a "boulevard bruiser" semi Pro Street theme. Mostly cruising, but I expect 10s in the quarter mile, with a BMP aluminum block 541 stroker that I have committed a deposit to and hope to have in the car by October 2021.

I was told that all 440 and Hemi cars got that K member. Of course, the Hemi used different engine mounts but otherwise, the K was the same. The 318 and 383 cars had the same K member but without the skid plate. The skid plate was there because the 440 4 barrel 6 barrel and Hemi all got the 6 quart oil pan.
My red car had the 318 and the non skid plate K member with the number 90 stamped on the welded "coin".

I just pulled it out of my van, exactly the way it came off my car, but here's a couple of pictures:

$500 unless someone wants to pay more. EBay might get you more $$
I would like to help someone on the forum who may need this for a 440+6bbl build. That way they can have a "correct" K member.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the K-member. I chose a "category" that I want to build my car around, more of the result of how individual goals have come together, and the QA1 K-member fits that perfectly, and there's no going back!

Hemi K is different, it has its own unique mount plates. I sold a few nos hemi k' s a few years ago, they were worth good $. The regular 8 cyl k, only a few hundred. The creating and shipping is a killer, only the nos or mint members were worth it to buyers. Good luck with your sale.

If your selling it with everything attached like in your pictures

That raises the price considerably

That's funny because I was thinking "Heck, I'd be happier to sell it with all these parts attached, including the manual steering box." Lol.
It had been in the back of my van for a week. Work, stormS prep, more work, I finally took it out today when I had to load a bunch of wire, ladders, and tools to go pre-wire a small house we are building on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 6.1 surround sound in one room and 2 HDMI video drops, and a subwoofer. The job I used to do. Ladders are harder to climb and carry now...
So a few quick pics and now I just got back from doing that wiring.
I'm not complaining, just explaining.
I still have more wiring to do, but my wife came with me to "help me" and I got to the point where I had all the "help" I could take for one day...

The lower control arms with sway bar tabs and all that stuff does add up quickly.
I got lucky last summer and found a '72 Coronet Wagon in a Nevada Pick N Pull. I got almost the same things you show in the picture...K member, (But without skid plate) control arms, sway bar....$82 ! Top one in the picture:

Oddly, that station wagon also had manual steering.
Yours is obviously worth more due to it being an original '70 440 setup.

Not so fast....the 440 4 barrel cars got the skid plate too !

All of my 69-72 440 cars had the plate. 3 Chargers and 4 GTXs. This one is from a 71 GTX U code.
Also the coin is the last two numbers of the part number, not the date code. The date should be stamped of the frame.

A well known Mopar B body guy in my neighborhood had the exact same setup, he offered it to me for $300, and had it listed and at the swap meet at $500, with everything hanging on it.

That's the real deal, and should be worth at least five hundred to a thousand with everything on it, maybe more. shipping is going to be the killer though.
When i buy something i only consider how much it costs delivered in my hands.

That definitely is not happening with this one.

There’s an e-body one locally on Facebook for $350.
