dodge and plymouth differ. lay it all out there, what is the car you have.
 
Plymouth has a wider top cap piece. therefore the legs are shorter than Dodge.

I have owned a dozen 1967 coronets with bucket interiors. They all have the same wide chrome across the top of the seat back just like a Plymouth. I have a good friend with a 66-67 chargers and they are the same wide top piece. The attached photo is of @Jerry Hall 1967 500 and look at the wide chrome on the seat back.

I believe it is that A bodies have the narrow top piece you describe. I have seen them plenty. Unsure of year or D/P.

R413 is correct. All 66-67 B body seat backs have the same wide chrome strip and A bodies have the narrow chrome strip. I went through this about 5 years ago and had multiples of each to get one nice set. Found out the hard way about the A body difference.

I can’t help the OP out as I’ve since sold my spares but it will help to widen his search base to know.
 
I may have a complete extra set. Will check my boxes tomorrow.
