1968 Runner post w/ 6.1L, 6 speed, IRS

It was either 14 or 16 gauge. The original lower support was removed completely. In addition to tying the front rails together, I wanted something I could jack under.

Finally received the driveshaft a couple days ago. I was a little late ordering it. The axle shafts I ordered in March arrived about 3 weeks after ordering so I assumed the driveshaft would take about that long but when I called with the driveshaft dimensions, DSS said they were 8-9 weeks out on driveshafts.

Is that a Corvette fuel filter/regulator I see?

Those things are JUNK! Get rid of that POS!

I got new bumpers from AMD and had them powder coated in satin black along with every other piece of stainless trim on the car

I didn't like the contrast of the orange foglight and black bumper so I had the orange lenses tinted and love the way they turned out

Definitely some Mad Max vibes going on! I like it!!

The side glass and windshield is in. The rear window is close to being installed. The engine was started up and tuned. It sounds great. After the rear window is installed, it's down to headliner, carpet, and the rear seat. It looks like I should actually be driving it this summer.

I ordered door panels 8 months ago and got them about three months ago, The Roadrunner has been in upholstery limbo since then since the carpet material I wanted couldn't be found in the states and shipping is nearly impossible. I settled on another material and now It's now in upholstery. A rear seat will be fabricated with matching materials to the front seats. all my interior metal parts are out for powdercoating and I am rounding up small pieces. on the left is a Hurst shifter I pulled from one of the cars I parted out about three or four years ago. I ordered up some new pistol grips and installed them...so much better!

I had the car dyno tuned. It's a stock longblock except for an aftermarket camshaft. Stock HP is 425HP and I thought it was making between 475-500 at the crank. It made 406HP at the rear tires, which comes out to approximately 480 at the crank. I think there is some more left in it, but it really won't hook up as is. It's the most fun I've had driving a car.

Great progress! Definitely on the road this summer if you can keep the momentum.

The factory hood louver callouts needed updated so I had these designed and milled out of aluminum. They will be powder coated black

I like them! If ya had some holes or mesh screen in them, it would help getting engine heat out. They are sharp!!
