Steve Wall from Chrysler Performance west posted at Moparts and FABO that the show will go on.
Not in Van Nuys though. Not in Woodley Park. The "leaders" in Los Angeles county refuse to grant permits.
Where will the show be held?
Irwindale Raceway.

I agree. I'll be there but I'm not wearing a mask either.
I need parts for my "Jigsaw" project so I'll be scouring the swap meet for misc goodies.
I suspect that to comply with the bullshit regulations, Steve has to state that masks are required.
There is no way that there are going to be "Mask Police" strutting around checking people.

That's the way it was for Carlisle..just needed one to walk in the gate.

I have been curious about the mask requirements that I see posted on the walls near the entrances of businesses.
Some state that masks are required, some state that they are recommended. Who determines this? Who placed the order anyway? State officials? Local county? Federal? Since I have been a staunch NON believer in the seriousness of this scamdemic, I wonder if even the employees of these businesses know. For me, one of the saddest things is a person that does what they are told, no matter how stupid, while never questioning why.

Fall Fling 25th Anniversary at Irwindale Speedway Saturday October 24, 2020 this year.

The LA City is not issuing park permits.

Fall Fling 25th Anniversary

October 24, 2020 (Sat)
Irwindale Speedway, Irwindale CA

All Mopar:
-Swap Meet
-Show and Shine car show field
-Drag Racing Test N Tune 1/8 mi
-with walk-in Participant admission.***

*** NOTE: Our events, like always, have PARTICIPANTS shopping, selling, showing, and supporting those cars OUTDOORS. There will be no grandstands seating or presentations.

Masks absolutely required to be worn.

Please be understanding of this late location change. We will have basic flyers with email and limited mailings. We really need you all to get the word out by social media, cruise's, word of mouth etc.

But you WILL have an opportunity to participate in a Mopar event. Adapt and enjoy!

Yes. The track rules.

Face mask will be monitored during event and if you are not mask/face covered you be asked to put on on. They also will shut down the drag starting line until masks are on. If you still don’t, you’ll be asked to leave.

The reason for “Participants” is to make it clear that we are not a bunch of spectators at a Concerts, Baseball game, etc with sitting stationary in stands all close together.

Our events are a bunch of shoppers at an outdoor swap meet/flea market. That’s not lip service. I mean everyone looks around the swap and cars for sale right?

The track does not want this event or others shut down.

We totally respect and understand people not choosing to mask. But these are the track rules. It’s this or no show.

So if you choose not to mask, sit this show out. That’s ok. Next show in 2021 we won’t have to mask then.

• 2 swap spaces with 5 adults... Pay for 2 20x20 ($80) swaps and 3 persons ($15x3=$45) etc…
• 4 persons (adults)… pay $15x4=$60

We all know by then LA will be locked down again... Might as well plan a cruise in Northern California where we have a little more freedom...
