I'm trying to reinstall the switch panel on my 69 Roadrunner. The dash pad is so tight; I've spent several hours on it with no luck. Anyone have any tips?

I leave the pad nuts a little lose, put one end in and then use plastic paddles.

The plastic trim spoons work well. If you have a heat gun, warm up the pad first. You could also rub some vaseline around the pad to get it in.

Thanks guys! I guess I was a little hasty in posting my question. I later found a whole forum on the subject - but leaving the pad bolts loose, the use of plastic spoons for the corners, and the heat gun are all good. I'll be back at soon. Again Thanks.
