What did you do to your Mopar today?

I removed all trim and dropped the trans on my 74. It will go get a fresh coat of TX9 when my 71 is delivered which is close. Yeah I am deep into two projects at the same time.

Started out to just change the door lock knobs and furrels. Should be rather simple. But the driver's side knob was tough turning on and eventually the rod came out of it's hole in the mechanism and the clip fell down inside. So then I had take the panel off to get the clip out. Well the covering is a little loose on the bottom where it wraps around the board so I may as well put a little glue on it and clamp it overnight. Then I thought that while I have the rod in my hand I'll run a die over the threads to clean them up so the knob will go on easier, which worked. But I'm not sure how the clip goes on so I'll open up the other side to see how it goes, I have to get the rod out to clean up the threads anyways. I get the other side opened and it's a totally different clip plus the rod is in much better condition and the knob goes on fine. Should have checked that first, duh. So after I'm not sure how long, I'm about half done this ten minute job. It's a good thing I'm retired.

My '63 Fury: Finished installing new booster and now 10 wires finally pulled out of old bulkhead block to install the new one when I can get remaining wires out...they're being stubborn and on my 3rd beer now...this was going to be a winter job; but the ignition connection is for chit giving no run so priority changed.

I was going to go out to Baker's today, all my buddies were out there. but we had a little birthday party at my house for a old Vietnam veteran that lives down the street and has nobody, we had a great time nonetheless.
how many people were out there was it packed?

I’m guessing maybe 150 between main lot, back hill and next door, we enjoyed the great cars and the live music.
Not the the biggest day I’m told, but very nice turnout for a holiday weekend

A bit of Bird and Bee chasing each other today, a chip truck lunch and some grocery shopping ! 70 or so miles on the cars today, on this beauty of a day! During our cruise we had a '72 Road Runner tag in with us in Elmvale, a '70 Road Runner in Orr Lake, as well as a '68 Dart and when we stopped for supplies in Midland we were followed in by a '69 Road Runner with N96 hood.

OK, not today, but I've had ALL kinds of junk in there - front end spindles and drums, headers, etc.
...and firewood too when camping!

Here is my friend pulling out lumber for a nice bonfire...

Most women would rather go to the opera! I guess I have mine well trained..... just love how they echo off each other! The Bird's reflection in the paint of the Bee is amazing at the end of the video..
