So my wire harness has 4 spade connectors that hooked up to my headlight switch (shown here). Was there a connector in the harness for this or was it discrete wires like mine has now? Schematic does not show this detail well and my harness may have been modified.

Thanks MF

I may have something. I need a picture of the back side to know for certain.

Any MoPar with the rocker type headlight switch (B,C,E body) will have the harness plastic end that you need. On 1970 and later models MoPar spliced what was the 5th terminal wiring into the 4th terminal wiring. This way your parking lights and side markers (70 and later) stay on when the headlights are on. I hope this helps you find the wiring end.

Thanks Devin, I didn't know what the connector config/pin-out was since I never had one. Now all I have to do is find someone who has some old harness's hanging around. Any idea how late after 70' did they use these 5 terminal connectors?

70-74 Cuda / Challenger
70-72? Dodge Polara / Plymouth Fury
70-71? Chrysler
1970 All B body
all had the 4 terminal wiring end

67-69 Fury / Dodge Polara / Chrysler
68 - 69 B body
All had the 5 terminal wiring end

The black end connector (snaps onto the back of your switch) is the same for all of the above. On 1970-74 they just left one place in the connector blank (no wire)

I hope this helps

Hey KD did you happen to get a chance to see if you had anything? If I understand Devin correctly a 4 or 5 pin connector can be used (see his post above).

Thanks

I have one now, if needed

I am concerned that KD might be in the path of fire as I hear that area is burning. Not typical for him to go silent unless he is out of town etc. I could use that connector yes as its the last part of the harness work before I start to wrap it in tape. Is it a 4 or 5 pin? What do ya need for it?
