Hey gents
It looks like the cam is wiped in my 340, had a failed lifter also, looking for suggestions on a good street cam to boost power, but not so crazy that I have to mess with valves, springs, rockers etc, Do you guys have any suggestions? It’s a J head 340 out of a 70 Plymouth that appears to be stock other than being in the wrong car. It’s a stock 73 340 intake, with a throwaway edlebrock 600 cfm carb. Preferably Wanting a kit with cam, rockers new timing set and Under 400 if that’s in the ballpark.

I think people are going to need more info on the car like rear end ratio, weight, auto or manual trans headers or not, tire size as this plays into the selection.

Stock... it’s a 727 from a 72, a suregrip 8 3/4 with unknown ratio from unknown car, a junk set of flowtech headers, stock weight, and tire size isn’t set in stone as I haven’t decided on a wheel yet, they will likely end up some sort of 17 or 18” wheel. , it’s currently riding on somE 205/75r14 Chinese tires
