Suddenly my rear bumper looks like this. I am constantly cleaning, shining the whole car. I use only McGuires products. Last time I polished this you could shave in it.

I don't see anything. Possibly forgot to attach the picture.

WHT is going with this bumper. Only use McGuires prpducts.

I saw the pic in your other post... you double posted. I'd say it's moisture that worked it's way through. I was highly advised to seal the back of not only my repop front bumper, but my OE after rechrome.

Shoot, prolly too late isn't it, although it would be something at this point. Thanks guys.

I only use Autosol on my chrome/stainless. Give it a try because it wouldn't surprise me one iota for Autosol to clean that up.

Minor pitting. You can use all the polishes on the planet and none are going to get rid of the rust once it starts BUT I have had luck by first cleaning the whole bumper (and many other pitted chrome parts) with a mild acid solution. I actually use a "rust converter" and do not rinse it off. Once its dry I wipe the part down and then hit it with a polish. And I like Autosol but find that just about anything works good using this process.

Don't know how old bumpers are, just assume they're 67s. It's not pitted just surface stuff. Tried everything I've got but nothing working. Thought for sure clay bar would. I will try Autosol, haven't heard of it before.

Hey Lionized, I'm also a Teamster. Local 318 Rochester, NY. I tried to pm you but said I couldn't because my inbox is full. Can't find an inbox so I could empty it. I drove cement mixer.

Pleasure to meet a fellow brother!

Try 0000 steel wool and some chrome polish. Looks like some kind of build up. Clay bar is for clear coat, never thought of trying it on chrome but would put image it would do anything.

Quick-Glo - if it can be cleaned this will do it.
My directional arm was covered in rust, now it's chrome again. Used it on many things with great results.
