Heard on the radio yesterday , the 16th, that Wylie E Coyote was 71 today. My curiosity was stirred as I know Chrysler paid a fee , I guess to Warner Bro, to license the use of Road Runner for the car name and for advertising, but did they ever do that for the coyote. I don't think they ever named a vehicle Coyote, but did they use the coyote for advertising back then?

I thought they did for the Coyote Duster. I could be wrong.

Plymouth used it on their B bodies.

IIRC it was ridiculously cheap.

The characters did as much for Warner Bros. as it did for Mopar. It made both brands quite popular! Mopar's were the cool kids on the block!

How many millions would you expect that to be worth today?

Thanks Guys, well, I see the Coyote Duster air cleaner decal so can we assume the $50 k deal INCLUDED the use of Wylie Coyote also....just curious....
