65 Sedan projects

Thought I would share my cars.... a '65 Belvedere I, which many may have seen on here, and my favorite project, and let me reiterate, this is a PROJECT, a 65 Coronet sedan... Please excuse the messy garage, I am actually in the middle of a lawsuit to get my shop done, messy deal. I got bored one night and decided to paint the passenger side of my car with spray paint. No worries though, I have a place in Wichita (Robbie's Hobbies {ask for Gene}) to media blast and prime the car for around $350. Yeah, that's not a misprint, blast & paint, under $500.00. After that soaks in, there is no secret handshake, no back door deal, just tell him what you have and what you need done, that's it. These guys are real, honest, legit, and they like what they do. Great guys!!

Please feel free to add your projects or present cars (Ron, your '63 Plymouth is awesome, and I would love to see it on my thread).

Some of the pics on these forums make me go from 6 to midnight if you know what I mean.

You are having contractor fun on your shop too? Same here. I'm chomping at the bit to get my shop done so I can get back to work on my 65. It hasn't been touched for almost 3 years now since we moved and waiting for the shop to get done. Funds needed and investigations ongoing. You can see it in the garage section under "lessons in patience to me". Here are some shots of my 65 when it was intact and then the current in the works stage. The car was used for the front cover of the old SA Design suspension book. The friend who used to own it worked with the two guys from the book company back in the day.

I will have to get a pic of my current project 64 post ply., my other posts projects are more doors , 62 Dart and 64 Bel. LOL

I admit since the 80'sI have had about every Mopar, but the early B bodies were among my favorites.

Back about "94 or 5, I brought a slant 3 on tree savoy into the world of 440 4 speed cars.

Question, what size 15 rear whel and BS an I put on this 64 savoy?? Don't want to cut or have it rub.

Per Bob Mosher:
The biggest tire you can run without moving springs inboard or mini tubbing the car is
29-1/2" by 10-1/2" on 8" wheel. The backspacing has to be 4-1/4".

Hope this info helps.
