Decoding my 1967 Plymouth Belvedere 11

The core support numbers will tell us if that fender tag goes with that body. It will have some same info on it.

I see it has console brackets on the floor. That didn’t come like that they were added on.

Radiator support numbers.....
it appears that my communication about the radiator support numbers has been removed or I miss place it some how. I still am working on the support getting numbers but.... My title matches the front door post numbers. This is good enough for me... despite what the fender tag sez (some one did a swap out or???).
I told a member I would check back regarding the rad tag numbers.... his post was deleted for some reason so this is the best I can do for a reply.

RH23H is a 383 4 barrel car

the "8" under the "X" on the fender tag is a limited slip axle

The number that ends in 02022 is the SO number and should match or at least partially (the last several characters) the number on the core support.

If your car is or was GG1 green with a black int, you're good on the tag, too

wait....

66/67 did not have rivets holding the VIN to the door post.

I am 99.5% sure of that.

Dang

I tried to pm you but a error keeps showing up.... so thanks for the info... Mike

My 66 has rivets but are not the same design as the ones in the pic.....

Thanks for another opinion.... it helps. I just got off the phone from the seller and you confirm his thoughts exactly. The bottom line is getting a legal title in Michigan with the pink slip title. I am not interested in the numbers matching car.

I'm not really a numbers guy either but have had a couple. Heck, even my 66 Belvedere I is numbers matching but it was a /6 car but man, it came with ALL paperwork including the window sticker and paperwork on all repairs made since new. It even had all the old replaced parts in the trunk!

You do not see that kind of documentation very often. Thanks for sharing....

Looking closely of the door post tag with vin numbers... the rivets are old and in a state of deterioration.... it can be clearly seen as not tampered with recently. This is reconfirmed by
the title vin.

The mystery of the radiator support not having "NO" numbers what so ever baffles me.

The other set of numbers that are supposed to match the fender tag SO # should be on rear frame crossmember by the left rear bumper bracket.

I am not at liberty to see those numbers as you have stated until the body arrives in 1st of April. The gentleman I bought the car from has been very helpful in discovering and displaying the bodies secrets in the form of photos. He is very knowledgeable B body cars also.

Thank you all for your contributions to this subject.

Old & getting bolder not older... Mike

Sorry to add more confusion, but I have a '66 Belvedere and a '66 Satellite and neither of the VIN tags on the door post look like this. They have 'star' rivets and do no have the Chrysler Corp stamp on them. They are simple tags with just the numbers stamped into them. Not saying the one in your pic is wrong.

The OP's VIN tag looks correct for 67, but the rivets do not. All 4 of my 67's had the star rivets.

To slightly change the subject I have a new throttle cable for the Hemi B Body. Fifty bucks including shipping if interested.
