They will lose their "alleged" *
not for profit status
& rightly so, it's a huge scam, the sanctioning body gets all the cash
most all the concessions, the gate & swag souvenirs sales etc.
instead of showing a profit, they pay the governing body more
especially for the big wiggs/admin.
The workers still don't 'paid well' at all
This **** has been going on for longer than I can remember,
just become much worse in the past 2 decades
pile on the Chinese Wuhan Flu pandemic & very few fans
racing at one racetrack for most the National Events 4-5 times @ Indy
not a good recipe for success
look to the leadership, to be a big change among their ranks
heads should roll
they lowered the payouts for all classes,
especially the Pro's
pretty much sponsors & contingency money
is what keeps racers coming back
love of/or the racing, it ain't the payouts for damn sure
the writing & PC BS has been on the
proverbial wall for a long time
less Pro-Stock races down to 18/or less before the Chinese pandemic crap
less Pro-Stock MC & rules seriously favoring the Harleys,
added CID & less Weight
barely get a full field of pros, for 16 car fields getting 12-14 cars
less pros, less racers & then they add **** classes like Top Fuel Harly
less payout for classes that can't exist off winnings
it needs millions more, not $25k or $50k to survive
it won't die as of yet, it will be different
if they don't start paying the racers better,
it will die a miserable death
IMO & "allegedly" it's been mismanaged for 20+ years now
too much greed in the sanctioning body, especially admin. etc.
not enough of the cash (*profits) spread around
greed by the sanctioning body, not spreading their wealth
racers will find a way they always do
