I'm still looking for decent rear seat frames for my 1964 Dodge Polara convertible as my original frames are too rotted out to save.
Not exactly sure what other year B Bodies might have the same rear seat, but 62-65 Dodges have been mentioned to me. What about the Plymouth verte's?
The black, bottom seat photo below is OEM from a friends 64 Polara convertible. It's upside down, so the front of the seat is on the left side. Notice how narrow and tall the 'U' is where the seat sits over the driveshaft tunnel? This is the style seat frame I need....
And the 2nd photo is of the rear seat back showing the placement of the vertical supports. If you have a frame that isn't rotted away and that you think is similar to these pics let me know, I can measure my friends seats or what's left of my OEM seats to compare.... Thanks!
9/25/ Update: Added a pic of a red, 64 Plymouth rear seat bottom from a hardtop car to better show the style of rear seat bottom I need. Hardtop seats measure about 60" wide and I need something in the 48" range.
