Hello all,

recently got my car back from the shop where they had done some adjusting to the clutch. When it came back, the clutch pedal was resting about 2” lower th and the brake pedal.

so I climbed under the dash and found this. Shouldn’t there be a spring or something that pulls the pedal back up to the stop? If you have pictures you could share, nuthatch would be awesome. Thanks!

66-70 over-center spring. A few on ebay but expensive.

Some aftermarket clutch assemblies require removal of over center spring.

The spring and the Hold pin are missing. Did they remove them?

if its a diaphragm pressure plate the spring needs to be removed
