Yep. Woke up to 'WEE-WAH WEE-WAH' mandatory evacuation sirens at 4:30am.
Saw the red glow out bedroom window.
Getting good at pack 'n go...
VERY close this time.

Oh jeez. Stay safe up there. We're finally getting back to sunny and not-so-smoky days down here, even though the 'creek fire' is only around 40% contained. It was at it's worst the last 2 weeks, the majority of it 35-40 miles up the hill from us.

Just went through this in S Oregon (damn arsonists)

Was stressful and time was short on packing, taking only what could fit in truck and car.
 
Seems like a long day...Glad this one is over. I don't plan on updating this post much because, quite frankly, I am weary of fire updates!

I feel your Pain.. We almost lost our Family Cabin due to the Gender Reveal Party Fire.. Came within 100 Yards.. My Father passed away last July and he had a House in the Monrovia Foothills that we sold at the beginning of the year and the Bobcat fire came within 50 yards of that place. Bad time..
