Ok,it's a really cool Charger R/T SE, but I think it's around 8 to 10 grand overpriced. At 25 or less it's a decent deal, but as you know, when you cut one of those apart there is always more work than it appears. It will be a stunning car when it is restored!

Should I feel unreasonable spending 25k for a mostly matching 68-70 track pack R/T?

The car checks the right boxes, but 35 k is a bit too steep for a car missing the matching numbers engine, and needing atleast most of the metal work that second generation Chargers need. I would offer something in the 20 to 25 grand range for it,and go as high as 27 grand for the car. The key to buying the car is to bring the 27 grand in cash, and a trailer, and lay out twenty grand in cash on the fender. Then keep adding another grand at a time until a deal has been made. A lot of people talk the talk, but cash walks the walk.

I guess we need more info.

440 / 426?
4 speed / 727?
Dana 60?
Warranty replacement block?
metal condition?

The biggest disadvantage is that it does not have the numbers matching engine.
I personally would not care as long as its the correct engine but many do so it affects the price.

....seems like my answer to your question in another Post is ringing true...
These cars are hard to come by.
