E Body to B body exhaust

Hi guys, I want to install a Magnaflow 3” system in my 70 RR, Magnaflow only do a 2.5” system, has anyone ever fitted an exhaust system that was for an E Body to their B Body, not specifically a brand name as such, reason I ask is MF offer a 3” system for an E Body.
Please don’t suggest another brand

Tail pipe are to short but you could make extensions.

Oh I’m sure both the tail pipes and the headers to muffler are both short but is the basic shape similar
