My 1969 Dodge Charger has new floor pans and I was looking for the holes to install the seats and noticed the floor supports do not seem to be attached to the floor.

Should there be a space between the floor and the support?

Do the seats have brackets under the floor?
Anyone have pics of theirs?

I put donor front floor pans in so they had the holes already in them. I do know some floor pans dont have holes in them, you have to add them.

No, there should be no space between the floor and the support. The floor should be welded to the floor support.
If you look under the car you should see the hole in the support. Maybe you can transfer that hole into the floor pan. Then maybe with a bolt you could draw the pan down to the support and then plug weld them together?

Here you can see the factory floor supports with the holes, I don't remember which hole (inner or outer) was used for the seat bracket bolt.

Thanks for the photos.

I looked at the cross member under the car and it seems to be attached.

Do you think the supports just need to be cut out and moved up to match the floor or do you have another suggestion?

Also my seat only has 3 bolts. Your car appears to be a bench seat. Are the holes in different places for buckets and should they be support brackets on the bottom?

Cutting out the supports would be my last option. I would try pulling them together with a bolt.
No, my car has buckets with 4 bolts / per seat. Which I verified fitment.

Like I said this floor pan came out of a donor 4 door Coronet. I also transferred the seat bracket plates. Which I assume are in all cars regardless of the type of seat (bench or bucket).

Maybe someone with more experience can answer if there "Are the holes in different places for buckets and should they be support brackets on the bottom?"

Here is a picture of my seat.

I think you right and I am missing one bolt on each side. I just noticed I am missing some of the rubber bumper that go between the seat frame and floor.

Thanks for the photos and help
