Hey everybody I'm currently in the middle of gathering parts for a 4 speed a833 swap in a 1965 coronet thats currently running a 318 poly. I have all of the "big" pieces like the tranny, bell housing, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, the pedals, and the floor hump. Now I just need some help in finding all of the "Little pieces". first of all I need help recognizing what I need and would like to see if anybody knows and maybe has some parts. I am in the nay area and this weekend I am going to Sacramento raceway for the molar swap meet and race day and am hoping to go with a good list of what I need to finish up this build. thanks to everybody that will help.

Contact Wayne Brewer

He’s Mr 4 Speed.

Consider talking with
PASSON Performance www.passonperformance.com

Call them to discuss all the pieces and parts you may need or require, like synchronizer rings, bearings, snap rings and shims, and gears if needed.
They even manufacturer an aluminum case or cast iron case units, either exchange or outright purchase.
Just my opinion of course.

Jorge,

You will need to call Brewers, talk to Wayne or Dan, I never had good luck with E mailing them.

They have the full Z bar assembly, bell housing pivot ball, and the frame pivot ball/bracket. They will also have the correct hurst shifter parts, including floor boot. These are all the little items you should buy new.

its really easy get the service manual and look at the exploded view.... u can buy every part from brewers or ebay easily.. bob's ur uncle...

I just bought a conversion kit from passon - had everything for my '70 - even the column conversion. I am happy with the install thus far ( mockup )

Yur gonna lose some, a good amount of, take off torque-multiplication, after the 4-speed is all in. So, unless you already have 3.23s or better, you'll probably want to budget for more rear gear.
If you already know this, then just ignore me.
But if you didn't, and want an explanation; just ask.

worth asking but give AJ all the details, real compression, where the intake closes at .006 (or .004 -- .050 is worthless) gears weight tires, usage, etc
