Im parting a rusty 67 post coronet today. Could use some tips on how to remove the gutter rail trim.

Use an old school can opener with tape wrapped around it.
Use short increments and gently pull part way off from the bottom up.
Come back and pull it off some more.
Repeat until it's off.

I like to use a paint stick. Put another one under it to get the correct angle. Pry it out under the gutter. Use the window frame to pry on. Go a little at a time starting at the corner by the A pillar and moving back.

The can opener has too small a tab to pry on and it could damage the trim.

please tell us how it works out.

The old fashion"church key"
bottle opener works for me. Take your time, lift in small increments and NEVER try prying it off with one pull.
