for me, Trucks, typically id only buy for offroad use and should definitely be lifted with bigger tires, and all cars should not have a gap between the tire and the fender well....if so, it needs to be lowered...I'm never going to do the full "bed on the ground" thing, its too impractical...

Just saw this thread pop back up. Mini trucks are making a comeback this summer around here. It’s the old ones too, I’m having flash backs from 1990 something. It’s like they were stashed and now they’re being resurrected. Every cruise-in this year had at least a handful of S-10, Mazda, Nissan mini trucks. I got excited at one of the first shows where they started showing back up. My teenage kids did not share my excitement. They looked at me like I was nuts. They think a completely slammed, bagged little truck is stupid. Not me, so cooool. :)

What I don't get are the 4wd trucks lifted in front and lowered in back.

I met a Hispanic American at the Shootout this past Saturday. He had just purchased a 68 Sport Fury convertible in near original condition. He told me he has been a Lowrider since he was a kid and even has a well established club he is President of. He said he had been completely unaware of the camaraderie he was witnessing at our event. He also said he was blown away by the variety and beauty of all the cars there. He got the Fury simply because he wanted a convertible and wanted something different than a 60s Chevy. He won a cool custom award and is now determined to just clean that car up and love it. A new Mopar convert! Had an interesting discussion about the hydraulics they use. 1000PSI! One rig he said had 20 batteries AND 2000lbs steel plate in the trunk so it would "bounce"!!!!!!!
