Bought a not-so-cheap bag of 66/67 B Body body plugs from Classic Industries. 3 important ones were missing from the order. No response after 7 days to my email, so I called today. On hold for 15 mins. After a lengthy and nonproductive conversation I was told they did not manufacture the parts so there was “Nothing we can do for you.” Kinda like a dealership telling me to call the factory if my new car has an issue. I asked for the email of someone who could do something for me. I was told to email Customer Care, the same people who didn’t answer my earlier email.
As I’m just starting the rebuild of my Belvedere you would think they would want me as a repeat customer. I’m guessing they have so much business that they don’t need me.

Classic Industries is right there with Jims. Lots of stuff we need but don't give a f%*k about the customer after the sale.

I just don't understand why people keep buying from Classic. There are quite a few much better places to do business with. Outfits that actually care about their customers and know what they are selling.

Glad I read this thread as I was getting ready to buy all the frame plugs for 67 R/T
Any body know where to get a good complete set ?

My reason was that I could only find generic body plug kits. CI advertised 66/67 B Body specific. So, naturally, I thought “everything I need”. So I paid the $50. I’ll do my research here on FBBO for more reputable vendors before spending another dime.

How about Detroit Muscle? I've had good luck with them and they have great customer service. 440'

I'm not up on the 67 stuff, but the first people I would call would be Jamie at Mega Parts, or Jim at Detroit Muscle Technology. Richard aka as 69Bfan on here would be another guy that I would bet could get what you need.

Just googled caplugs LLC and they have them by the millons ,almost any size for any thickness .
Down side is the smallest amount bag is eighty pcs and I don't know if they will sell to non industries
They have been around since 1948 , could have been OEM suppler .

Had a few problems with them, finally got satisfaction after speaking to a person called Lina-Marie Valencia. I told here I was a member of this website. I said it would not be a good idea if I tell the members of the bad service. said she would get back to me in a few days. 4 days later replacement parts were at my house.

Call or go on line to Detroit Muscle Technology.

The idiots don't seem to understand that one bad experience snowballs via word-of-mouth (or internet these days) and costs them 10 future customers and maybe 100 future sales. Sales go down, they can't afford more staff, service gets worse. It's a vicious circle.
On the other hand, great customer service works the other way and creates a virtuous circle. They've already lost 1 sale just from this thread by the looks.

The management of these businesses probably don't know about stuff like this. I blame a few bad apples that never get called out.

The first on your google search= wrong guys. Detroit muscle is the best. This guy puts his pants on one leg at a time, just like you and me . But makes million dollar mopars at the same time.

Make a video and tell the story.. Post it on instagram/Youtube/facebook etc etc and make sure to tag them in every video. You may get a response pretty quick. Some places don't like the negative stuff. I had an issue with a Hughes Transmission they wanted me to ship it back on my dime.. I posted a video and they asked me to take it down and they would make it right. I told them I'd take it down when the transmission was fixed and back in the car.

THey obviously don't check in here very often.

Just found the plugs I need on Ebay from seller upper_bound. Just wanted to share this seller with others here.

UPDATE: Just received a phone call from Tony in customer service at Classic Industries. Real long story short, he agreed the manufacturer should have included all the necessary parts in their package and said he plans to contact them. He also offered a full credit for the cost of the item, close to $50. My thanks to Tony for following up and applying the credit.
